For those who are using Windows live messenger(or msn messenger) , I guess many of you had received some kind of auto sent spamming from you friend that is not sent by them.
The scenario is something like this:
someone that you haven't been chatting for very long time in msn messenger.. sending you some kind of link asking you to check if that picture is you or some kind of link that is related to some sort of online game.
Well, since there had been so many such cases happening , i guess everyone of us already know that never ever click on such link. But won't you find it annoying to have 6-7 or more such spamming message each day?
so , here is a simple solution:
1. Notify your friend, stating that their account will send out spamming message.
2. Ask them to change their account password. (How to create a strong password?)
This simple step will decrease your chances to ever receive the spamming message from the same friend again. (if they follow your advise and change their password)
Why do I give such advise:
1.My net geek friend YangMing told me.
2.One of my friend who knew that his messenger will send out spamming message, without hesitation, he formatted his pc with fresh copy of Windows.(as he thought it is an Virus infection). But the true is: he is still continuously sending out spamming message, so this make him wonder why. After he followed YangMing advise and changed his password , problem solved and I never received any auto spamming message from him again.
